Fall at Grand Falls
Grand Falls outside of Joplin, Missouri in the fall lies along Shoal Creek. Grand Falls spans 163 feet and cascades down 12 feet. The lower portion consists of natural rock formation, while the upper tier is handmade. First installed in 1860 as a wooden retaining wall, later replaced with concrete in 1890. Grand Falls is the largest and highest continuously flowing waterfall in Missouri.
